Thanks everyone for the welcome. In the context of a photo forum "shoot" would mean one thing to me: get out the heavy artillery (those long telephotos) and take a shot or two.

Thanks Eric, I do indeed have a few (well more than a few) Nikon lenses from the early 1970's onward to today's auto everything lenses. I have ordered an adapter to give those lenses a new "shot" at life.

A week end approaches and if all goes to plan I should be able to spend a bit of time with my new toy, getting acquainted with settings, figuring out focus points, squinting into the lcd (its quite bright around here) and just enjoying the stealth aspect of this camera.
