First Lens for my D800? Thinking 24-70

Yay! It is here!

I've been saving for my step up from the D7000 to the D800. My initial plan was to buy the D800 and the Holy Trinity all at once at the end of the year, but I couldn't wait! I had the cash for the body and I pulled the trigger. I have a Tokina 100mm f/2.8 and a Nikkor f1.8D that are letting me play around the house but I clearly need something versatile to start. I do a mix of landscape and portrait shots. I'm thinking the Nikkor 24-70 will give me the most flexibility to cover a few months until I can get the sister Trinity lenses.

Any reactions?
