Re: Canon 7D is 4 years and 8 months old this is not good for Canon

if a Camera is good i have no problem if it takes a while to have a newer version..but 4 years and 8 months and no upgrade insight is propablly the longest in Canon histroy in the semi pro line.

what does this mean? what can we expect in the near future for this class of camera?

is Canon lacking of new innovation  or did digital camera technology reach its limit?

I'm thinking the resale value of the 7D has maintained less depreciation than most since there has been no replacement. Does anyone have any comparative stats of depreciation of camera bodies as related to time, before and after a new replacement body arrives into the marketplace? Has this model faired better than the pro 1D line or the consumer Rebel line with respect to time and devaluation?
