Smart use of Expodisc 2.0
I've watched maybe 15 Youtube videos on how to use this product. The most official-seeming video was from Zach and Jody Gray … I suspect their 5 videos were made by the manufacturer.
All tell you to place the camera where the subject will be when setting WB, but some tell you to point the Expodisc-wearing camera at the light source, while others tell you to point it at where the camera will be when the actual pic is taken. BTW the Zach videos tell you to point the camera at the light source.
Which is correct … or … are they both correct but for different applications. If the later can you describe those two different applications?
I realize this is the FX forum … but I figure you guys and gals will get this question better than folks in other fora.
