D800 plus what lenses for safari?

Hi all, just wondering what you would do?

I'm an amateur enthusiast who will be travelling as a family to South Africa (Kruger National Park),  Botswana (Okavango Delta) and Victoria Falls. There will be strict luggage restrictions on small airplane transfers (20kg including carry on).

What camera gear should I take? Not an experienced wildlife photographer, I'm unsure of just how long a lens I need (300mm? 400mm?), whether a teleconverter spoils it, whether a "super-zoom" is sub-par? Or just crop the final picture?

Currently I have: D800, D5000, 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8, 28-300mm f4-5.6, 105mm f.28 micro, TC 2.0.

Should I consider: TC 1.7, 80-400mm; 300mm f4? Anything higher end (200-400mm, 300mm f2.8) would be simply too heavy.

Any advice would be appreciated!
