Thank you for the explanation. As I mentioned, I do not use spot metering very often, but do rely on blinkies or zebra to warn me of overexposure. Fujifilm is one of the few manufacturers who offer this indication only after the exposure. Too late.

To properly expose without clipping we also need to know what the sensor is seeing (raw data) and not what the tones of the rendered jpeg would be. This is important if you shoot raw.

So here are my requests:

  • zebra or flashing indicator in preview (before the exposure)
  • option to display raw histogram and raw zebra (for raw shooters)

Hope somebody in Fujifilm is reading this...
