Since you've been taking pictures for over 40 years, I think you'll do fine.  I noticed in the first set of pictures that the shutter speed was slow sometimes and you were using something like F5.  In situations like that I would stop down the lens to something like F8.  I'd either bump up the ISO level to get the higher shutter speed, or I would brace the camera with something like another tree branch.  Bracing the camera can significantly improve the difficult-to-take landscape images.  One way to the brace the camera, is to sit down...put both elbows on the legs or some other solid object...keep the camera steady...slowly push down the shutter.  It's a makeshift tripod.  It's obviously not as good a tripod, but it does help a lot.  With your experience, I'm sure you'll figure it out.

I like the two sharp photos of the flower and goose.  That's another reason that I know you'll do well.
