Currently my only quibble with the A6000 is the durability of the plastic finish and painted on lettering. Oh yes and how easy it is for the eyecup to lose.

Disappointing. I was hoping that Sony had improved its finishes. The flash icon on the pop up flash button is almost worn off on my six-month-old NEX-6. I have DSLRs from Canon that are almost ten years old and all the lettering on them is just like brand new. This isn't rocket science and these aren't cheap cameras.

Just to clarify, so far my A6000 silver is pristine. I'm simply voicing a concern about painted plastic being durable. As long as it holds out better than whatever coating they used on the screens of their NEX series I'll be happy. In hindsight the old Nex 3 painted lettering held up pretty good.

Here's my old NEX 3, my 5N wasn't much better.
