First Time CIF Attempt (9 finch photos)

Shot some finches this morning once light started to illuminate the bird feeder using my DA*50-135.  Worked pretty well.  The main problem with this approach is that I ended up with around 1000 shots to sort through and whittle down.

The non-colorful female seemed to insist on stealing the show - my guess is that over 95% of the shots were of her.  She did seem to know how to strike more interesting poses than the two males .

Feel free to C&C...I know they're nothing exceptional, but constructive comments/thoughts appreciated.

A final thought about CIF - it almost feels like I'm cheating by just setting up the camera and walking away, but it's a very nice feature I look forward to "cheat" with more in the future.

PS - Ron, interestingly I saw your post this morning about CIF after I had set up the camera (actually I got things set up last evening, but the light was poor so waited until morning for shooting).  You and I must have some kind of telepathy thing going on!
