I've used a lot of cameras and can get by with pretty much anything. I have no real complints with the X-A1 and found it much easier to use then then the NEX6 and better IQ then the E-P5(1). But I also got it at the $450 sale price. I love that the kit lens starts at 16mm!
I will have to disagree with you.
- It's small and it very, very "plasticky"
- I'm having a lot of problems with the ergonomics. When I use the camera portrait I often press of the button around the menu/ok. I know, I'm "a klutz" but still this doesn't happen to me with most other cameras.
- It's a slow camera, especially when I switch between my Canon 7D and this one. Extremely slow, but it forces me to think more and compose more. BTW, the LCD could be brighter, especially in bright outdoors sice there is no viewfinder (evf/ovf)
- Fuji must have killed many unicorns and used a lot of pixie dust. The images are great even with the plastic 16-50. Did I mention that it was "plasticky"?
- The greatest failing of all is the poor, insufficient documentation. I thought that Canon's was bad but compared to Fuji, I will never complain anymore about Canon's docs.
BTW, what's the difference between Multi-AF and Area-AF and how can I tie this up with the face detection?
