Best lens I have owned

Truth be told I haven't owned a ton of lenses and this is my first "pro" lens.  I looked at the 70-200 VR1, and 80-200 AF-S lenses first because I couldn't justify the 70-200 VR2 price for my amateur needs.  The least expensive sports zoom is the lens and I am so glad I bought it.

This lens is sharp and brilliant at any zoom length, any aperture.  Even wide open shots are sharp and crisp.  Focus tracking and speed are very fast on my D7000.  After using this lens for a while every other lens I own feels cheap.  It really is built like a tank.

This lens could be the best bargain in telephoto zooms you can get.  Love it!
