Re: Samsung galaxy EK-GC100

Well what I have found out its great talking photos as long as its sunlight out or bright lights for night it sucks no matter the mode and the flash his useless.

This is all normal and typical for most compact cameras. Please note the sensor is small and the lens is slow -- to make possible the huge consumer 21x zoom.

It is a camera targeted mostly to cell-phone upgraders or to people who like to travel light.

The big problem I am having is one of the features is the ability to connect to other devices through wifi/Bluetooth to share like photos but it does not connect to say an iPad/iPhone but only to samsung like smartphones very big disappointment to me.

I have no problems connecting to any WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth on all of my WiFi and Bluetooth devices -- any of my multiple Android tablets and smartphones, my laptop etc. Are you sure your iOS devices are not using some proprietary iOS version of Bluetooth?

I was kind of excited when I heads for the next model but found out not really much changes in the quality of the photos and they removed the cell service feature.

There is no change in photo quality in the Galaxy Camera II and they indeed removed the SIM card slot. That is why I am not upgrading to it.

I am. I am now looking at the bigger brother the galaxy NX to replace this one, I like the screen size and the sim slot is a big + for me.

I have the Galaxy NX. Photo quality is much better with any lens, and stunning with the fixed-focal lenses. But, it is much bigger, especially with a bigger lens attached...
