SX50 - Hibiscus

I read today a message from someone looking for a travel pocket zoom and complaining the high ISO shots being flops and the lack of RAW. I tried today to shoot one of my wife hibiscuses on the staircase. Light wasn't very good (an overcast day), so the P mode increased the ISO to 640. Although I didn't use a tripod, the camera wasn't handheld either, because I braced it hard to the railing. The shooting was RAW and PP-ed with DPP. Here is the result:

Of course pixel peeping shows much more noise as a shot from a bigger sensor camera, however I deem it as usable.

Unfortunately SX50 isn't a pocket zoom: it's almost three times heavier than SX700 and also significantly bigger

Thank you for looking and reading,

Augustin
