Same as in my post processing, I'm kind of sensitive to folks looking at my photo and thinking that doesn't look real.

UWA IME isn't about "real look".

My typical application for WA (beside the boring land- or city-scapes) remains the comical entertainment during parties or gatherings: a portrait of somebody who is all so serious and expects to get a proper portrait (being shot, after all, with a serious cam and a big lens), while instead s/he gets a shot with his/her head blown up, taking 25% of the frame(*), surrounded by many tiny people.(**)

(*) Depending on the person, center the shot on either eye or nose.

(**) Shoot slightly from above. Being taller than the rest helps.
