XV X 2.2X
Before I have tried my X Vario with close up lens, the Canon D500 with good results for macro shots.
Today I received a new telephoto lens, the Vivitar 2.2x HD4 lens. Took these photos to see the how it affects the reach. By the way, what is your opinion about 2.2x when set to 70mm, does it then become a 154mm lens?
For both the close up and the telephoto there is a 52mm thread so I use a 43 to 52mm converter ring.
Now late, dark and only for to see the difference in focal lengths on this pics.
Pics are taken from the same distance. First with tele and the second without. I can see that some sharpness is lost. But maybe it works for head shot portraits. An even higher quality telephoto converter could prehaps remain the sharpness. What about the new Fuji tele converter?
On 28mm there is a profound vignette, but at 50mm it is without.
