Is this the best I can expect from D800?

Is this exacerbated by the high-res sensor?  I think because there's so many pixels that even the slightest movement is seen when pixel peeping.  With fewer pixels some movement is better tolerated or masked somewhat because the range of vibration and movement is small enough that a single pixel doesn't move as far thus keeping the image from blurring to the next adjacent pixel(s).
