Then I guess it will be a while before I buy another nikon. I do not see how they can make me replace  the 24g or drop the stellar zeiss 135, which I just used even on soccer without focus problem. but a new 105dc ... that would be nice. Or a new 180 to replace the 70-200 that I consider my weakest lens.

Actually, speaking of thom hogan, I agree with one thing he recently wrote. somebody needs to fix focusing! I am tired of how poor focusing is for fast lenses on all nikon bodies I used so far (All but the d4/s).  it gets easier to  manual focus a zeiss than use AF lenses sometimes.

now back saving for the otus.
