JamieTux inspired me

JamieTux's thread on shadow recovery inspired me to go down to the pond and shoot some Purple Martin BIF.  They regularly require a bit of shadow recovery since I generally have the sky as a background.  It turns out that the A-77 with wide area AF makes this like shooting fish in a barrel.  If you can manage to get the Purple Martin in the EFV, the A-77 will pretty much  do the rest.

I used the Sony 70-400mm G2, WA-AF, +1.33 EV, ISO-400 and chose my f-stop to keep the shutter between 1/1600 and 1/4000. My keeper rate was about 50% and I'm not particularly good at tracking.
