E-5 11-22 take to the sky

I had a chance to shoot from a small aircraft (Cesna 150) this past weekend and captured this beauty of our village.

I brought the E-5 and 11-22 and the 50-200.  Things I found out:

  • There's no room for changing lens.
  • The 14-54 is a much more versatile lens than anyone give it credit for.  11 mm was too wide (captured too much wing in the images).  50-200 would have been to long (physical length of the lens).
  • You need to be aware of window glare at all times - it was too windy for us to open the windows.
  • The articulating screen on the E-5 is beyond useful when you are strapped in and there is almost no room to turn to look out the window through the viewfinder.
  • Weather proof gear is important if you are going to get sick.

Good shooting.
