Have any S5 Pro shooters "consider" the Sigma 18-35?

Have any of you S5 shooters consider buying this lens for your S5 Pro, or have you even tried shooting with it?
I really really like my XE1 but since i sold my 17-55 i haven't shot with the S5 that much and i do miss those punchy CCD colors. The S5 is just simply from another world.
One thing i will tell you is that I did borrow my dad's 17-50 Sigma OS and that lens did give me sharper images with the S5, i am suspecting that the OS DEFINITELY helps in giving you more crisp and sharper looking images vs. the nikon 17-55. I was very surprised myself.
A while back someone said that the Sigma lens is too much for the S5 Pro, but i have been thinking about that and i don't think that is the case at all. I do believe in one thing: "Garbage in, garbage out". Whatever goes into the camera that is what you are going to get, and if the cheaper sigma 17-50 did show me improved sharper images than the nikon lens, i am suspecting that the newer Sigma lens with OS should give me even BETTER images.
I am actually thinking of spending more money in reviving my S5 by buying a better glass for it instead of buying more lenses for my XE1. I am really glad i bought the XE1 at such a great price and i will definitely keep it, specially for traveling and better resolution, but I want to continue to use my S5 as my main workhorse with better AF and that sweet highlight recovery power.
After all, I still have the 85mm 1.4, the 35 1.8, and 28-105 macro for it.
Is anybody using the Sigma 18-35 1.8 on it? I hear is a really really fantastic lens
