Re: Fast short Tele on NX - Adapted 100mm f/2.5

Thank you for your nice words and interest.

I am familiar too with APS-C crop sensor on a Nikon (I have both full frame as well crop sensor). But as I want to do more video, my choice is to the Samsung, as Nikon doesn't offer a good mirror-less option. The way Nikon implement video in their DSLR is "clumsy" in comparison to most other vendors.

After some first experience when the NX30 shall arrive, I think I will order a 20mm and 30mm Samsung lens as for easy "street-live" imaging using AF. But when getting a Nikon/NX mount adapter after, I think I have nice options to combine my existing list of lenses to use on the NX30.

Small and light manual Cosina / Voigtländer SL (II) lenses:
- 40mm/2.0 Ultron (Pancake)
- 58mm/1.4 Nokton (shall be a nice "85mm" full frame comparable angle of view)
- 90mm/3.5 APO Lanthar
- 180mm/4.0 APO Lanthar

The nice things to these lenses is that they have a long throw turning to the manual focus ring. (Specially the 90 + 180mm). For movie I want to put a "handle" on it < like this > or < this > and using the focus peaking on screen for focus reference.

Also small and light.
- Nikkor AIS 24mm/2.8
- Nikkor AIS 85mm/2.0 (although not that sharp used wide open)
- Nikkor AIS 105mm/2.5

And I have to figure out if using the Nikon/NX adapter with a special ring to set aperture for "G"-lenses, I can still make use of my Sigma 10-20mm/4-5.6 (using manual focus mode).
I have some zoomlenses too, but  most I think are not that nice in using them. (Maybe a relative small Nikkor E 75-150/3.5 as an exception).
