There are things these review sites don't measure because they simply don't have the equipment to measure it, plus the techy types really just care about -how sharp the pine needles are- anyway so why bother testing anything else. Many photographers do the same thing, picking and choosing their gear and shots based on viewing pieces of images at 100%. They are either pleased or disappointed based on what a small portion of an image at 100% looks like. And from the shots I see on this site used to judge optics, it's usually the side of a box, an angled ruler or a child's toy anyway..

There is nothing wrong with this if that's what someone wants to do. It just is tiresome to listen over and over how their concept of "what is important" is some holy grail for all photographers. Note this thread is about the bokeh of the three lenses, but as usual, is turned into a "but which one is the sharpest?"
