Sunset with a long lens

Today I tested my rig for sunset photograpy during the summer. I used a Vixel VC200L telescope and my A99 for the test shots. This is an 1800 mm f:9 telephoto lens. The sun was a bit too bright today, and was pure white even with 1/8000 sec. Now I am hoping for a denser atmosphere so that I can catch the green or blue flare on top of the setting sun and other atmospheric phenomenas.

No need to tell, but great fun!

The telescope. The small black box at the left is the Sony A99.

So easy to be negative - so hard to be constructive!
