Sunset with a long lens

Today I tested my rig for sunset photograpy during the summer. I used a Vixel VC200L telescope and my A99 for the test shots. This is an 1800 mm f:9 telephoto lens. The sun was a bit too bright today, and was pure white even with 1/8000 sec. Now I am hoping for a denser atmosphere so that I can catch the green or blue flare on top of the setting sun and other atmospheric phenomenas.

No need to tell, but great fun!
