I am surprised by the quality of the bokeh here. Does the TC affact it ? ( looks better than without ).

Isofar as the TC maintains the bokeh characteristics of the lens itself but at a smaller effective aperture, I suppose a bit. The TC holds back 2 stops of light but you get the DOF and bokeh that goes with a longer focal length at the lens' real aperture. With other words, maybe a bit but the TC doesn't create anything that wasn't there to begin with.

BTW, have you used the 35 2.4 for landscapes ? I am considering it for that purposr and wondering about its shaprness, across the frame, its resistance to flare ?

Can't say much about flare-resistance as I rarely shoot into the sun but the lens is absolutely great for landscapes.
