Aerial Fun

The first set were taken at Waiheke Island. The weather wasn't too bad and it was a bit windy as the remnance of cyclone Ita was drawing near

we have Liftoff

great altitude

I had to straighten the images as they were all crooked. I was thinking about cropping more, but I wanted to keep the sense of scale

The next set were taken at Takapuna beach the next day after Ita had passed through. It was a pretty wild night and morning with high winds, rain and some rough seas- didn't seem to phase these guys though (it had calmed down a bit when I took these - no rain)

Again, I could have gone in tighter, but I wanted to keep sense of scale and the mood of the seas

These are pretty much the first shots taken with my new camera and lens D7100 with the Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 VC USD  (the new Tamron with stabilisation)

these were not taken in continuous drive, but in single shot mode

your feed back is welcome
