Looking at the lettering on her cap in the first, these are sharp.

One can dispute quality of rendition /resolution levels etc etc, but not whether the image is sharp or not just because it s a higher pixel density camera.

The 28~200 has been around in many iterations for many years and I have owned 3 of them. This AO3 model: Tamron 28-200MM F/3.8-5.6 XR Aspherical (IF) Macro AF which I've had for 10 years, is no slouch! I wouldn't part with it. Aperture ring and full frame, obviously.

Here is another shot wide open in very dull light. I bailed this character up while testing the lens so ignore the crappy background, this is OOC so feel free to pixel peep, check out the pattern on the vest.
