RX100 is definitely better at low ISO, but at high ISO (above ISO 800) there is no significant DR difference. Here is a DR comparison from DxO:

At high ISO, without NR, both sensors are within about 1/2 stop of an ideal CX sensor, c.f. http://home.comcast.net/~nikond70/Charts/PDR.htm#1 V1,DSC RX100,Ideal_CX  , there simply isn't much room for improvement -- except by applying NR, which degrades IQ.
