I totally agree with your sentiment. Often the micro-SD cards come with an adapter. Many people have three or four expensive SD cards, and they don't want to have to replace them, even if the micro-SD cards are only $20 each for really fast 16 GB cards (holding about 1,000 raw photos each). They put SD card slots in cameras that are a lot smaller than the V3, so I have NO IDEA why they would put a micro-SD card slot in this camera. If they had put 2 micro-SD slots in there I would understand. Maybe that's the plan for the V4.
