FOLLOWUP

Found a foreign knockoff of a popular viewer. I paid £13 on ebay for one like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-8X-Viewfinder-Extender-Screen-Magnifier-For-3-inches-LCD-Sony-NEX3-NEX5-DSLR-/171302096895?pt=US_Viewfinders_Eyecups&hash=item27e2668fff

It's FANTASTIC. A small frame bracket attaches to the tripod mount, then when you

want to use the viewer, you attach it magnetically to the frame. It sticks on great,

and pulls off in a split second, no need to glue or mod or the camera in any way.

The eyecup is big and comfortable, and the view is HUGE, makes framing and manual

focusing easy. It's lightweight, but for the way I use it at least, a little too big for using

for street shots or on a strap. Perfect for slow-moving or still subjects, and easy to have

with you at all times. Highly recommended.
