Thanks Nhelnhel.  I had never tried anything like this before, so you could call it beginner's luck in terms of the sky being very clear.  I wish the blood red moon shot was better focused.  On hindsight, I should have set focus using CDAF while I had decent contrast and then disabled focus for the later shots when it was too dark for CDAF to lock in.  Lesson learned for next time I guess.
