I just went out shooting today and realised I wasted 2 hours worth of shooting with my shots in ISO1600.

So what's your story?

When I first made the transition from film to digital back in 2006,I took my 5 year old grandson out for walk and took some unforgettable pictures. When I say unforgettable I mean I'll never forget the fact that I'd forgotten that my memory card was still in the card reader back home.

But you could setup do not release the shutter without a card. I also did the same thing when I wanted to capture a sunset by travelling 45 min by bus. I was frustrated when I realized that I could not shoot, but the experience is not bad because you will take the lesson before missing any great shot opportunity and you could settle down to enjoy the natural sun set...

Before I leave, I will format the card, check the battery status, and bring spare battery, take some try shot in order to make the setting (metering mode, iso, white balance, exposure compensation...) to common one.
