A TZ35/ZS25 & LX5 Question Please

Hi guys, as some of you will know, I'm not the most technically minded guy on here so I wondered if I might ask (may seem a simple one) a question.

Ive taken a few indoor flower photos using both the TZ35 & LX5 and been quite pleased with the results, but never had a go at outdoor shooting.   Now although still a bit breezy today I took these two in my garden.

Knelt down elbows resting on the ground to help steady the can with both cams set to burst mode & -2/3 exp, then both cropped with a tad of contrast added before some un sharp mask, that's all.

Now my question at long last is this,   can someone explain in terms easy for my to understand, ha, ha,,    why the LX5 photo has come out more true to the correct colour than the TZ35/ZS25 shot.

Should I be setting the TZ more towards a "vivid" setting ??

Also if I may ask,,,   which do you prefer.

Thanks for looking guys,
