What are your experiences with V1 or V2 as a main travel cam?

Re: What are your experiences with V1 or V2 as a main travel cam?

I've gone on three trips (Washington DC, Maui and the Philippines) with the V1 as my only camera, usually with the SB-N5, 10mm, 18.5 and 30-110mm. The small size of the kit is a big plus when you're traveling and walking around. It's also unobtrusive, with the totally silent electronic shutter. The simplicity of the camera makes it less intimidating when you hand it off to someone else to take a photo.

The only time I wish I had my D3 was at a night time outdoor car show in Maui, where the poor low light behaviour of the SB-N5 reared its ugly head.
