G1X Mark II : Lens is soft at f2, ALMOST unusable

I just received the camera, and took few pictures with it.

What I noticed is that the lens is soft at f2. You have to go to f4 to get sharp images.

So if the F2 is not sharp and unusable, what is the benefit of the camera, and what is the difference between this camera and, for example, the sony HX50 which is half the price.

Few other thoughts: The camera is sluggish, focus is slow, if you have kids, then forget about it.

The picture blank out after you take it, the grip is uncomfortable at all, 12 megapixel is small, heavy, and with all of that it costs  $800.

The Sony A6000 with the lens is the same price.

I really wanted to like the camera, but with all of that, the F2 is unusable:)
