Remote code execution vulnerability

This goes along with the urban myth of listening to Windows users complain some hacker got on their system and installed Spyware / Malware. No, the user did something to cause the problem.

Then what does "remote code execution vulnerability" mean? There are several of them that are patched in the April 2014 "Patch Tuesday" batch of patches. One of these affected "for Internet Explorer versions 6 to 11 on Windows XP through Windows 8.1 and RT"   All a user needed to do was use any of these versions of IE to be at risk.
