Colors and patterns in architecture

The SwissTech Convention Center, located in École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) campus, is a very interesting building. It has a modular auditorium that can be configured for different types of meetings (conventions, banquets, conferences, workshops, etc.) :

But it's very interesting too for its materials, colors, structures and patterns. Here are some pictures taken with the E-M1 and 12-40mm

Glass and metal

The building

Wood and light well under the roof

Interesting patterns using different materials

Plastics, glass, and wood

The configurable seats

A more enigmatic one

Some other interesting use of colors in architecture, on the EPFL site

C&C welcomed.
