Using the SD1 Merrill and 20mm f1.8 EX at Trebarwith Strand Cornwall.

Hi all,

Recently i used the SD1 Merrill and 20mm f1.8 EX combo which i like.

I have always found the 20mm f1.8 EX to work well with the SD1M, and it's become a lens that i can trust.

These two images were taken on a really poor day and i had to check the weather before making the journey as it was a little uncertain if it would be raining the whole day or not.

Anyway i decided to go and it was not great with drizzle the majority of the time i was at the beach.

I had a ten minute gap where the rain stopped which was just long enough to take these two images which have both been taken using the Lee Big Stopper.

The 10 stop filter allowed me to shoot at 30 seconds during the early morning.

If anyone is looking for a nice wide angle prime for a SD1M you can't go too far wrong with the 20mm f1.8 EX. (f8-F11 really nice!)

If anyone is ever visiting Cornwall and would like to photograph a wonderful location on the north coast Trebawith Strand is just that place.

Kind regards Lea.
