Oly 12-40 is too big/bulky

I hope you realize that the 12-40mm lens was designed to be the "kit lens" for the E-M1, which is the largest and heaviest M4/3 camera made by Olympus. It has to be relatively large due to the constant f/2.8 aperture, and the weather sealing. Please note the significantly larger and heavier 12-60mm lens has a variable aperture of f/2.8-4.0.

Virtually no one will buy this lens to use with their E-PM2. This is a high grade PRO lens, designed for their flagship camera.

If you want something much smaller, then consider the Olympus 14-42mm EZ pancake lens. Or perhaps the Panasonic compact 12-32mm lens.
