She did not have a choice but Pentax

I finally convinced my wife to join me in one of my birding trips and to try a camera. I gave her my trustworthy original K-5 with the lightest convenient zoom - DA 16-45/4. I was shooting as usual: K-3 with Sigma 500-4.5 and K-5IIs with DA*60-250/4. Yesterday we went to Bolsa Chica wetlands, about one hour driving south from our home. The plan was to get there at sunrise, but to my surprise we made over there only 30 min later - at 7a.m. Together we were shooting three Pentax cameras that day.

So, there is a solid proof that my wife shoot Pentax, taken, indeed, at 500mm.

Now - time for the birds.

Long-billed Curlew

A couple of Avocets

Horned Grebe (nonbreeding unfortunately)

Northern Shoveler

And I could not resist to shoot this GWE because of the very tempting light

At the end of the trip my wife said that she really liked it. However, I got the ultimate proof of what I've been suspecting all my married life: even when she is not around at least her shadow always follows me
