Sony RX10. Pixel size and noise are holding me back from buying

Consider DxO Optics Pro 9 - Prime

The one thing you may want to keep in mind is that noise is much more of a problem in low light. In bright daylight, I suspect you will never see any noise worth correcting. What you might want to consider is DxO Prime software. Based on work DigitalNigel has shown here, it is very effective. The downside is that it takes a few minutes (not seconds) to process each image. But as I said, you are likely to only need it on a small percentage of the shots. And DxO is a decent RAW processing software package as well.
