Last year I bought a Toshiba Satellite U 845 laptop because of it's specs. It advertised a 7 hour battery. I always run it on the reduced power ECO mode and yet I only get between 3 to 4 hours usage before the " Plug computer into power source " warning. Is this typical or do they measure how long the battery will last if you let it go into sleep mode and don't use it at all.
Does any manufacturer actually get the life that they advertise?
Hopefully if I replace the battery in the future, there will be a battery with a longer life available for this laptop as I do like it.
