The 60D still a great camera compared to..
I've been tooling around with Leicas, and Fujis for the last couple of years, mainly Leica. Also tried a micro 4/3 Lumix. With adapters and range of lenses from Leica through to Nikkors and Takumars.
So had a go with my good ol' DSLR, and the humble 18-55mm kit lens.
Got to say the versatility, and the image quality of the Canon still holds up very well. Even at highish ISO's. The Fuji is said to be something special with it's X Trans sensor, and high ISO capabilities, but I'm just not seeing much in it, compared to the Canon 60D. The kit lens is plenty sharp too.
Ultimately the SLR style is the most adaptable, and versatile camera for a range of needs, from close-up to tele, etc. Perhaps not as much fun as a Leica, but the Canon gets the job done with no fuss.
