It all depends on all the other factors

The difference in sensor size is only about 2/3rds of a stop, but sesnor technology makes that vary in real life (example: at most ISOs EM1 has ame or more DR than NEX 6).  I've always thought that these difference are too minor to notice in real life.

What we are left with are all the other factors like lens quality, IS, controls, performance, and most of all, the person using the camera.

My question to you is how important is size?  With Sony now focusing on full frame size lenses that so far have smaller apertures (f/4 zooms vs. f/2.8), any longer focal length lens is going to be signifcantly larger, and make the over all package very near DSLR size.  Also, M43 tends to have more, smaller, higher quality, pancake lenses.
