The 75 is very easy to handle, with unsurpassed sharpness.
Even in abysmal lighting it does very well and most definitely captures MORE than you can see with the naked eye.  
I like it for theatre, weddings, cars, picking out detail and patterns in landscapes.
Here are a few samples, some with crops. extremely gloomy, flat, directionless lighting for the boy in the black tee shirt.  It still pulled detail out of the scene.

Well designed gear performs better for longer than well marketed gear.
