Re: Is the A58 now the entry level SLT?

Entry level cameras just get you in the door.... soon as you become comfortable with the camera ( and that wont take much ) you become bored and look for something more than entry.

I always recommend you buy more camera than you can handle... something that your can grow into and push your photography

You can buy a 5000 dollar camera and use it on auto everything, and then slowly work on aperture, shutter speed, ISO, WB etc.  Its like playing tennis with someone you can beat.. You never get better because you are not challenged.

IM not saying the A58 is an entry level camera, but many people are intimidated by something more than what they think they are capable of handling. A professional can take a professional photograph with an A58, a throw away camera or a pin hole camera. Its not the gun its the gunner.
