Interesting spin on your original post. So you seem to be saying that proof of either side is impossible to prove because it is virtually impossible to take two identical pictures. Well if that is what you are saying I can agree with that.

The point of my original post was, that it was practically impossible to convince someone, who needed proof, that lossless means lossless.

As far as lossless compression goes, it really is lossless.

You are right: lossless compression is lossless. As I said: the whole matter is laughable. A debate? Please.
