Yes I know it has its issues, but most of them have been dealt with after the most recent firmware update.  What I now have is a camera that churns out wonderful files like it always did, but now benefits from acceptably fast AF and a much better manual focus implementation (really liking focus peaking).

The size and handling are perfect (well, they are once you pimp it up a little - the Lensmate thumb rest really improves things, and a soft release is a nice addition too), the viewfinder is a joy, and one gets the sense of shooting with a camera rather than a computer that happens to take photographs.

It's not a speed-demon, but for its intended uses that is no bad thing; a camera that slows me down and makes me work just a little bit harder (but where the interaction is part of the joy of using it) means better images are more likely to be the result.

Bottom line - it's my most restricting camera, being single focal length and all, but it's the one I turn to first.  If you can find one at a good price, don't think twice....
