Re: 40 years of technology

After buying my first ILC as an open box E-PL1 I became interested in camera tech and subsequently somewhat curious about the history of Olympus. The DRTV review of the E-M5 convinced me the camera I needed to buy was the ... OM-1! So I found what seemed like a bargain on eBay and snapped one up. It looks really good on my shelf, and I just got around to actually loading my first roll of film in it... haven't yet snapped any frames, though.

Authentic cell-phone grain

The OM-1 with a 50/1.4, E-M10 with 12/2.0, 25/1.8, 14-42iiR, 40-150R, and 45/1.8; all lenses wearing a reversed hood.

I thought this one provided a decent sense of scale. 50/1.4 vs. 25/1.8; oh, the E-M is wearing the 15/8 BCL

Never removed the protective plastic from the lens caps on the 25/1.8 and 12/2.0 in case anyone is curious why they look so funny.
