OT JVC 3D camcorder Anyone have one ,like it or not , Still images .
For NTSC model GY HMZ1 all shutter speeds below 1/60s (e.g. 1/30s, 1/15s,...) result in lower-resolution picture and for PAL model GS-TD1 the same holds for shutter speeds below 1/50s (e.g. 1/25s, etc.).
Therefore it seems that no matter which camcorder you use (consumer or prosumer), lower shutter speeds result in not so sharp picture (of course, it holds for static pictures as well). This is based on my observations.
For GY HMZ1 the same is valid for 24p video (if shutter speed is dropped below 1/48s). Moreover, counter intuitive (counter common sense), the picture is sharper in 60i mode than in 24p mode.
