I have a Nex 6 and whilst is the more aesthetically pleasing camera the A3000 with its deep grip is probably easier to hold. So whilst the A3000 looks a bit clumsy and has a poor EVF it is the better quality image maker of the 2 especially with the 18-55 lens and cost me 1/3 of the price.

I also have the NEX6 the EVF is allot better and the 16 mm is nice, the nex 6 is faster to ,but it is a great camera for the price.

many starter SLR cannot even compare in image quality.

and cost allot more get a better LCD and a real viewfinder ,but the electronic viewfinder.

Have advance to.instant view of your taken picture.

not possible with a Nikon or canon 1100D

with I also have.

Same hold for the NEX6

Criticising the A3000 at the moment is very much looking a gift horse in the mouth. It has a cheap body because it is cheap.

Pretty nice.

The A3000 has a great sensor, surrounded by a cheap body. Very capable of nice images, just not attractive to use/hold.
